Be inspired by our DIY Bunnings bedhead! We were watching The Block recently and absolutely loved the bedhead from Josh and Elise guest studio reveal.
Josh and Elise The Block guest studio reveal
We searched on the internet for some of these bedheads and couldn’t believe some of these were up to nearly $1000.
My sister was wanting to do up her bedroom on a budget so we came up with the idea of using the decorative screens in Bunnings. They are in the garden section and there are heaps of different sizes and colours to choose from. We chose the 1800 width for a queen size bed. It was a bit long on the bed but it still looked great! The colour black was a bit harsh so we found some Rust-Oleum Spray Paint that came in all different colours. We chose the grey to match with my sister’s room. It didn’t take very long to do and if you are not painting it then you can basically hang it up with velcro straight away if you don’t want to damage the walls.
Check out our video below and the materials we used below. We love the result!
